Shawn Cresap has been calling numerous high school sports since joining WXLN Radio in 2006. He began doing Sports for The Morning Show and calling Girls HS Basketball for the Shelby County Lady Rockets. In 2006/2007 the Lady Rockets won the KHSAA 8th Region Title and lost to Notre Dame Academy in the 1st Round of the Sweet Sixteen at E.A. Diddle Arena. The same spring, Cresap became the Voice of the Shelby County Rockets Baseball team as they played in the KHSAA State Baseball Tourney in Lexington, KY at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Cresap, along with New York Yankees Scout and Legendary American Legion Manager Jim “Hoss” Wiley and Daniel Williams called the Rockets run to the Championship Game, which the Rockets lost to hometown Dunbar HS. Cresap has spent time calling Shelby County and Martha Layne Collins HS football and basketball since 2011 as well as hosting The Coaches Show’s. Since 2014, he has been The Voice of Shelby County Rockets Football team.
Shawn has been married to his wife, Kelly since 2009 with whom he shares 4 children: Ella, Andrea, Miles and Tate.
